The Class of 2017 achieved a 97,6% pass rate and the number of Bachelor’s passes increased substantially from 2016. We would especially like to congratulate all the Grade 12 students who achieved average of 80% or more. They are: Tayana Mdunge  (80,3%), Bianca Salie (80,3%), Chelsea Whittle (80,3%), Maruschka Ford (80.8%), Hannah Danvers (82%), Marona Hopane (84.1%) (6 distinctions) & Our Top Achiever, Jamie Mannel, walked away with a whopping nine distinctions and an overall average of 93.3% What an incredible achievement! The seven top achievers were handed special certificates from the school on the day schools re-opened on 2018. Top achiever Jamie Mannel also received special certificates from the Director of Metropole North Education District (MNED), Mr David Millar for being the top achiever of Bosmansdam High School in 2017 AND for being on the MNED Top 20 merit list at a special ceremony hosted by MNED. Despite her fantastic #MatricResults, our Dux learner for 2016, Tiffany Isaacs, was unable to secure a bursary to attend #UCT. Our headmaster, Mr. Danie Human, on his own initiative was however able to secure a bursary for her through the Narollah Trust. Tiffany will now be able to pursue her dream of studying Psychology at UCT. This proves that not only are we #theschoolthatcares, but that we also have the headmaster with the "Human" touch!   Top Matric

The 2016 academic year was a tough one for all involved, which makes #Bosmansdam's excellent #MatricResults all the more remarkable! Our Education District (Metro North or MNED), was the 2nd best performing district in the #WesternCape and 7th best in the country, yet with a 98,63% pass rate, we can (and are very proud to) boast a pass rate that is 10% better than the MNED, 11% better than the provincial average and 22% better than the national average!
