“As educators our mission is to equip the learners of Bosmansdam High to reach their full potential in a productive, disciplined, safe and positive learning environment.”
— Danie Human, Headmaster

The school that cares!
Despite her fantastic #MatricResults, our Dux learner for 2016, Tiffany Isaacs, was unable to secure a bursary to attend #UCT. Our headmaster, Mr. Danie Human, on his own initiative was however able to secure a bursary for her through the Narollah Trust. Tiffany will now be able to pursue her dream of studying Psychology at UCT. This proves that not only are we #theschoolthatcares, but that we also have the headmaster with the “Human” touch!
School improvement 2017
The first of many school improvements has started: the replacement of the old, rusty boundary fence in front of the school with palisade fencing. This will greatly improve the image of the school, but will also improve the safety of our learners!
Grade 8 orientation week 2017
At the end of their #orientation week, the Gr.8’s participate in the “Bosspele”, which consist of traditional “boeresports”. The Bosspele are a tradition at #Bosmansdam, but due to ongoing #WaterRestrictions, we’ve had to adapt some of the games. All water used was borehole water and was recycled for use on our grounds. We had great sports and we are extremely excited to welcome our new #Knights!
NSC results 2016
The 2016 academic year was a tough one for all involved, which makes #Bosmansdam‘s excellent #MatricResults all the more remarkable! Our Education District (Metro North or MNED), was the 2nd best performing district in the #WesternCape and 7th best in the country, yet with a 98,63% pass rate, we can (and are very proud to) boast a pass rate that is 10% better than the MNED, 11% better than the provincial average and 22% better than the national average!
